Description: The Rigoutat student model is a semi-professional instrument that is only slightly inferior to the professional model. It has all the important keys and connections such as the B-C sharp connection, 3rd octave key, 2nd F key, and a key with a ring on the D key. The bore is the same as on the professional instrument, which makes the sound outstanding. The instrument is new and has only been displayed a few times. The intonation is very balanced and the mechanics are in perfect condition. The English horn is a little gem and well worth trying out. We are happy to advise you!

Description: This oboe is a rarity; the upper joint is fitted with ring keys, which give the sound a particularly rich overtone texture and fullness, whilst keeping the intonation very stable.
It is fitted with a second C-sharp lever (operated by the left little finger), which makes playing the low register of the oboe considerably easier. However, it does not have a second F lever in that position; one must effectively use the fork F.
The sound is warm and full, the low register is beautifully velvety, and the entire range is well-balanced.
We have completely restored, re-silvered and repaired the instrument. The mechanism is therefore in perfect condition; it is smooth and comfortable to play.
It is definitely worth trying out this oboe; for good amateur players and students, this oboe is a little gem.
